Linda Pearl Fils-Aime, also known as A Lady Named Pearl, is a recording artist.
Pearl was born and raised in Miami, FL to parents that migrated from Haiti to the United States. Her music is an infusion of afro-caribbean hip hop, while blending empowering lyrics with beauty and style.
She's won acclaim in the industry, touring with and opening for various platinum selling artists. Pearl has also appeared in national publications including JET and Ebony Magazines. She toured more than 220 cities with Ebony Fashion Fair as a runway model with proceeds benefiting underprivileged children's educational goals.
In 2009, Pearl's love for music led her to leave her corporate position and start her indie label, A Lady Named Pearl, LLC. In that same year, Pearl released her debut mixtape, "American Dreamin," to glowing reviews.
In October 2010, Pearl released her first single, “Unstoppable” and music video, which has been named a top ten video by Defend Haiti. In February 2011, Pearl released her second single "Jungle Love." Moreover, she recently released her third single “Dominate.” Pearl performed at Miami Reggae Festival 2011 and Winter Music Conference 2011 and 2012.
Pearl released her debut album "Transformation" on June 15, 2012.
